Who is eligible to participate in the Mill Cities Relay? +

This is an invitational event that is open to all members of the following clubs:

How do I register? +

Contact your club’s Mill Cities Representative. Teams must be registered by (race - 9), at 5:00 pm. Rosters can be modified online by Club Representative up until (race - 2), at 6:00 pm. After that, any roster changes must be submitted on race day in writing directly to the race timers prior to the start of the race.

What if my team roster changes after (race - 9)? +

(race - 9), at 5:00 pm is the last chance for clubs to add or drop teams. Clubs will be expected to pay for the amount of teams that have registers as of 5:00 pm. Club Representatives can, however, continue to modify their teams’ roster up until (race - 2), at 6:00 pm. After that, any roster changes must be submitted on race day in writing directly to the race timers prior to the start of the race.

What happens if it snows? +

In the event of snow, the race may be delayed or postponed. Please check this website and Facebook on race weekend for race status updates.

How much is the registration fee? +

Registration is $35 per person. That equals $175 for 5-person teams and $105 for 3-person teams. This should be paid to your Club Representative who will provide the Mill Cities Alliance with a single check.

Is there an age requirement? +

Yes. Runners must be at least 18 years old.

Where can I park if my team wants to carpool? +

If you want to park at the start line, park at the Nashua Public Library. If you want to park at the finish, park at Salvatore’s.

Where and when is the start? +

The mass start is at the Nashua Senior Center, 70 Temple Street, Nashua, NH at 8:00 am.

**NEW THIS YEAR**The Sunshine Start will start with the mass start at the Nashua Senior Center, 70 Temple Street, Nashua, NH at 8:00 am.

What is the Sunshine Start vs the Sunset Start? +

The Sunshine Start teams are three person teams who run the last three legs of the race. The Sunshine Start is at the Greater Lowell Regional Technical High School and begins at 8:45 am. See Race Info page for Sunshine Start divisions.

The Sunset Start is a mass start of Leg 5 runners at 11:15 am, whether their Leg 4 runner has arrived yet or not. This is to ensure we clear the course and have everyone at the finish line for awards at 1:00 pm. The Leg 4 runners' finishing times will be added to their teams’ total time.

Where is the finish? +

The finish is at Salvatore’s Italian Restaurant, 354 Merrimack St, Lawrence, MA 01843

Is there an after party? +

Yes! Also known as the Sixth Leg Celebration, inside Savlatore’s Italian Restaurant, 354 Merrimack St, Lawrence, MA 01843 there will be food, Cote’s beans, dessert, drinks, music, and merriment. Awards will begin roughly around 1:00 pm.

When do awards start? +

Awards start after all of the runners are in and the timers have calculated the score. Most years, this is 1:00 pm.
